Private Investigator Training – 2/26 – 3/4/11.

Have you ever considered a career as an investigator? If so, you may wish to avail of training that will allow you to become a State registered P.I.

The Sexton Executive Security Training Academy is certified by the Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) and all graduates are eligible to become registered as Private Investigators upon successful completion of training.

During the 7 consecutive days of training which run from 8:30am until 5:30pm, attendees will learn; the court system from a County Magistrate, be involved in a practical exercise to assist a client in applying for a protective order, learn how to conduct courthouse and online database research, undercover disguises, how to conduct surveillance and counter-surveillance, how to interview and interrogate, how to start a P.I. business, ethics, rules and regulations, etc.

Once you have obtained your P.I. registration and have been issued with your State I.D., you are able to apply to work for any company you decide upon. As providers of P.I. and E.P. services, we hire our own graduates exclusively, but there are countless opportunities for investigators in many areas.

Federal, State and local authorities constantly recruit full time investigators for Inspector General positions, internal auditing as well as offering outsourced opportunities when conducting background checks, workman’s comp investigations etc.

Seating is strictly limited, so in order to secure your seat, contact our training division at;

    Dear Sexton Security,

    I want more information on the training for Private Investigator at your school in Virginia.
    I am not able to attend right now. I live in Washington State (not D.C.).
    I would need for you to email me all the details of your course because your agency is all the way across the coast I will need time to plan & research.
    Right now I am on a fixed income.
    I want to be a private investigator and up until today I thought that I needed a 2 year Associates degree at the local community college. I really had next to nothing in information except the Google search engine.
    I also need to know what time of year the training is offered.
    I would like to ask that you not apply pressure for me to sign up right away. That just won’t be possible.
    Thank you

    • Dear Valerie,

      Our office will be e-mailing you more information as you requested. In addition, if you keep an eye on our training calendar, you’ll be able to see the dates of courses coming up. Sometime we may have a number of people who get together and request a class to be held sooner than advertised. We are glad to do this and only need to give the Department of Criminal Justice Services (because we are a State certified training academy) 7 days notice of our intention to hold a training class. If we do this, we will notify you and others who may have requested to be notified when the next class is being held and we will also post it on out website’s training calendar.

      Don’t worry about pressuring you to attend training. That has never been, nor will it ever be our policy. You can ask any of the many people who have voluntarily provided us with their testimonial about that. People who come to our trainings, do so because they have made the decision based on their own research.
