Well, I'm sure we will debate this to death, but I am completely satisfied with my Glock26 w/grip laser and 12 rnd capacity. If I want something a bit more sleek, I like my Kel-Tec p-11 9mm w/12 rnd capacity. The weight 1s not a factor and I like a bit more firepower even in a defensive retreat posture.
S/W makes some nice weapons, but their Sigma is not one of them and I'm skeptical the "bodyguard" won't be either!

I think even S&W realize that their Sigma was a flop. they did have a .380 at the South Florida Police and Security Expo last summer. I think the company is smart to start involving the end users in their research and development, instead of trying to copy Glock. I have the S&W M&P 40 and can honestly say it is a great improvement over their other pistols (dbl. action) although a bit heavy for concealed carry.

dont know why I went anonymous, probably pressed button, yeh Jerry, your MP is good but heavy but even in EP work, I want at least 9mm even if it is slightly larger than 380. And keltec or glock is nice small concealable unit.

I think the smith and wesson is a nice concept. I don't think the body guard is going to be any think like the sigma series of hand guns. Sigma might of not caught on to the public or law enforcement, but to be honest , I have a friend that has one and it might not be my favorite gun it was ok in the accuracy range and did not jam. If the price is under 500 it should do just well. I think the lazer part of the gun might keep it a little pricey. What shocked me was a well known gunsmith actually like the sigma series better than the glocks.
